  6. I’ve had a good read, fallen in love with that tiny dog and his enormous ears, spotted with some satisfaction that you also have a tabby cat, and have had a very good time dipping into your lovely life. As you said in your kind comment to me, I’ll be back!

  7. I am so happy that I found your blog!! I am adding it to my google reader list. I have a miniature daschund too we call Titus along with his best friend/girlfriend a blue heeler named Jasmine– quite a difference in poundage there. We also have a black cat called Hallie. A funny story about Titus. He likes to snuggle up in bed with us at about 4:30 in the morning when it is real cold. He uses that little nose to push under the covers to situate himself longways against me. Well, I wear loose pajama bottoms that are cinched in by a ribbon belt. The belt must have loosened up while I was sleeping so when Titus was making his way under the covers–he wound up with his head in my bottoms. Of course it startled me–scared him and it took me a minute or two to wake up enough to figure out what had happened. It was just too funny!!!

    • I love that story! It’s just the sort of thing that Higgins would do, Dachshunds do love to snuggle don’t they! I think Titus is a great name too, we spent ages trying to find a name when we knew we were getting Higgins and as we already had Henry the cat, we went for the ‘My Fair Lady’ theme! I bet you put a double knot in your PJs now! P x
